-after the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 Berlin suddenly had floods of refugees from Iraq
-the rufugees could get medical care and a stipend, but it was only cigarette money really
-the refugees could only stay in Berlin for up to ninety days.
-after the ninety days was up then authorities would haul off the refugees to government run group homes.
-after 25 years of work in the harsh factories a refugee could apply to be a citizen in Berlin,but only 1 out 25 men made it.

-when refugges first came to Berlin the goverment would ask then a bunch of questions to make sure that they were not trying to fake it just to become a citizen for free.
-if your were a refugee who knew something about Saddams inner circle or planns to biuld weapons then you were treated spiecial.
-if you were a refugee who was a chemical engineer then you were interviewed more thoroughly than the rest
-all of the chemical engineers were treated like prisoners back in Iraq.
-a man named Ahmed wanted to incredible package so he told him that he was the head engineer for germ weapons.

-they all went to germany to seek refugee from war, famine, and ethnic persicution.
-most of the Iraqi's fled to Germany because they disagreed with Saddam or were against them and were goin to be put in jail and killed or torture if they were found.
